Lea Barnard | President

Lea is in her fourth year as a Human Resources major at the Edwards School of Business. She intends to pursue a career practicing labour, agricultural, and/or criminal law. Her interest in these areas has grown substantially over the past few years, and she looks forward to learning more about these areas of law. She wants to welcome everyone to the PLSS family!

Nicole Wickenberg | Vice President

Nicole is in her last year of marketing at the Edwards School of Business. She also participates as VP marketing of the HR Students’ Society and on the entrepreneurship team for Usask’s JDC West team. She loves getting to know other students who are interested in law through the PLSS and is excited for another great year.

Abdulrazik Benguzzi | Treasurer

Abdulrazik Benguzzi is a second-year student at the Edwards School of Business. Since a young age, he has always been encouraged to make a positive impact to improve his surroundings. Law excites him as it is an outlet to make a bigger difference and ultimately work towards a society instilled with love, peace, and justice.

Paige Knisley | Secretary

Paige is a fourth-year Sociology student at the University of Saskatchewan. Currently, she has been putting the most thought into Indigenous law. Outside of school, she is involved with her Scottish community and plays the bagpipes in the Legion 63 Pipes and Drums band. She is excited to get to know everyone this year!

Taryn is in her third year of accounting at the Edwards School of Business. In January 2022, she plans to attain a co-op work placement in order to attain CPA hours to fulfil her goal of becoming a tax lawyer! In her free time, Taryn loves to rock climb, hike and take pictures with her film camera. She is excited for the year to come and cannot wait to connect with individuals who display an interest in law!
